Hi Quasar, I want to report a bug or more accurately a crash. I can run 0.6.1 without problems, but when I try to run 0.7 it crashes and give me this error message: (We've detected some unknown or missing Values in the Profile.txt file (terrainLODLevel). Would you like to repair it? (this will reset your Species Option to the default values)). press ok or cancel does nothing :|

Both versions of Species is installed in C:\Species\"version name" and my OS is Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit (service pack1) and my graphic card is GeForce GTX titan.

I also want to mention that I am very impressed with what you have created, just thinking about how much time and knowledge one need to have to create a simulation like this melts my brain! :D

So, It was the exported species. Every time I export a species and try to do something with it (start a new world or import the species) the game crashes. It makes me sad but I do like the way the error messages have a joke title. It doesn't do this with the one that comes with the down load, so thats something at least.

This one fixes:

• The horrible horrible problems with exported creatures being corrupt and preventing the game from running. (turns out it was specific to when you were in "Ecosystem" mode, which is why I missed it in testing). Thanks to kopout and daouid for reporting this.

• Problems with re-initialising the game if you quit and try to get back in if you have a creature selected while you are in Ecosystem mode (Screw Ecosystem Mode). Thanks to daouid and Skylimit.

• Problems with saving the Profile.txt file on machines with non-english number formatting (eg. German, Polish). Thanks to Stampede for this one.

• Possibly others that were related to the exported creatures/ecosystem mode, but I can't be sure because I couldn't work out how to replicate any of the others reported. I shall continue looking.

Please continue error reporting, it's massively useful! If this keeps up, I might actually manage to release a version of the game with no massive, game-breaking bugs on the publicised release date.

Downloaded patch 3 playing with a world initialized from exported and when I tried to load it after successfully starting it, playing for a while and then saving and exiting to the menue I got this error.

I saved while is species mode by the way. I get a difrent error (looks like the first one I posted) when i save in ecosystem mode. I have not exported any species of my own and was playing with just the ones from the download.

• Dealt with Kopouts "The stat "hPMax" needs to be initialised before it is used" error. Thanks! Still haven't been able to find the ecosystem mode one, though.
